Multilingual Speech & Language AI Lab Days
Discover how your voice shapes the future of AI.
What is it?
VoiceTech4Teens is a hands-on program designed for teenage girls who are curious about how voice technology and artificial intelligence actually work — especially across multiple languages. No experience required, just curiosity!
Over four Saturday afternoons, you will go from exploring how sound becomes data, to building your own multilingual AI prototype, to presenting it at a real demo fair.
Explore the JourneyUnderstand how computers hear and process human voice across languages.
Interact with real AI models and see how multilingual chatbots are built.
Explore AI in French, German, Luxembourgish, English, and your own language!
Show your prototype to an audience at a public presentation event.
The Program
Each Saturday takes you one step further — from first discovery to confident creator.
Dive into the science of sound. Visualise speech as waveforms and spectrograms, and learn how microphones turn your voice into data computers can understand.
Chat with AI models and multilingual chatbots. Test how they handle different languages and discover the magic (and limits) of natural language processing.
Get hands-on! Build your own small AI prototype using voice or text tools. Experiment, break things, fix them — real engineering starts here.
Show the world what you made! Present your prototype at a public demo fair, receive feedback from researchers, and celebrate your achievements.
